Navigating the app
CraftBot uses a consistent shell across every workspace — the same left side rail, the same top bar, the same keyboard rhythm. Once you’ve learned one workspace the others feel familiar.
The shell
| Region | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Left side rail | Primary navigation, grouped by Main / Analytics / System. Also holds the Documentation link and your account menu. |
| Top bar | Page title, My View / Team View switch (supervisors), agent status picker, date scope, notification bell, theme toggle, settings shortcut. |
| Main pane | Workspace content — chat list, recipe canvas, dashboard, settings forms. |
| Right panel (context-sensitive) | Conversation details, contact profile, node configuration, Smart Plug cards, custom-entity records. |
The left side rail

The side rail is grouped into three sections; which entries you see depends on your role.
Main
- Inbox — your assigned conversations and (for supervisors) the team queues. An amber badge shows unread count.
- Recipes — the bot-flow builder. Visible to admin, supervisor, and read-only users.
- Campaigns — outbound broadcasts and the campaign wizard. A red badge shows campaigns currently running.
- Contacts — searchable customer directory with conversation history and the contact profile drawer.
Analytics
- Dashboard — real-time KPIs: live load, channel breakdown, agent availability, bot performance.
- Analytics — historical drill-downs for conversations, agents, bot, CSAT, and performance.
- Reports — scheduled reports and one-off CSV exports.
System (admin only)
- Integrations — channel configuration (e.g. WhatsApp Cloud API numbers).
- Settings — workspace configuration: business hours, SLA rules, tags, nudges, notifications, knowledge bases, CSAT, AI Agents, Smart Plugs, Custom Entities, Connectors, email servers, and more.
- Users & Roles — provision users, assign roles, manage departments and teams.
- Audit Trail — searchable audit log of every state-changing action.
At the bottom of the rail you’ll find a Documentation link (opens this site in a new tab) and your account menu (click your avatar to see the Sign Out option). A collapse button in the top-right of the rail shrinks it to icons only; the choice is remembered per device.
The top bar

From left to right:
- Page title and subtitle — reflects the current workspace.
- My View / Team View — supervisors flip between their own queue and the team queue. Agents only see My View.
- Status picker — pick Online, Busy, Away, or Offline. When set to Away you can pick a reason from the dropdown that appears beside it (the reasons are managed by admins under Settings → Presence Reasons).
- Date scope — defaults to Today on dashboard/analytics pages; changing it reframes the chart and KPI windows.
- Notification bell — in-app notifications (assignment, transfer, nudge, SLA breach). The red dot indicates unread.
- Theme toggle — sun icon in dark mode, moon icon in light mode. Click to flip.
Theme
CraftBot ships in both Light and Dark themes. Pick whichever you prefer — the choice is per-user and persists across sign-outs. Theme switches happen instantly with no full-page reload. All charts, badges, and node colours are designed to be legible in both modes.
Guided tours
The inbox and the recipe builder each ship a short in-app guided tour that spotlights the key parts of the screen one at a time. Each tour runs automatically the first time you open that surface, then can be replayed any time from the Take a tour button in the top app-bar (the inbox also offers a help icon in the conversation-list header). The tours are in English only.
Language and direction
The sign-in screen offers an EN / عربي toggle that switches that page to Arabic and flips text direction to right-to-left. Inside the app itself, customer-facing content (recipes, templates, knowledge bases) supports both English and Arabic, and the recipe canvas has its own language switcher that controls which language version renders during preview.
